FF just updated me to 2.0.0.1
on Feb 25, 2007
The update was unsuccessful here, still running 2.0.0.1.
on Feb 25, 2007
2.0.0.2 here and running as smooth as silk
on Feb 25, 2007
the update was unsuccessful for my old XP laptop as well, I had to uninstall 2.0.0.1 and manually install the new version as I got stuck in a loop:

... with Firefox claiming that it needed to install the updates > the update going wrong > Firefox automatically restarting > Firefox claiming it needed to install the updates.......

... you get the idea. (a hurray for ProcessExplorer and the "kill Process"-Button)

Funnily my Vista-system hasn't asked for an upgrade and I am still using 2.0.0.1 there.

got 2.0.0.2 5 hrs later.

I never update via a popup or reminder for any program, except Security apps. I always go to the site first, confirm then uninstall the program and download a fresh version. This generally avoids the above issues.

Bichur, what version were you using?

You couldn't pay me enough to go back to using IE...

was using 2.0.0.0

about 10 minutes after reading this post, FF popped up and said 2.0.0.1 was downloaded and ready to be installed. 5 hrs later, it popped up and said 2.0.0.2 was downloaded and ready to be installed.

Wish they hadn't dumped shrink-to-fit printing - I miss that.

???

I have Firefox 2.0.0.2 running on Windows XP and I have shrink-to-print. Doesn't work very well, but it's there.
